It looks like the Dallas Arms Collectors has a gun and knife show this weekend at Dalls Market Hall.

Does anyone know if there will be any dealers there who carry RAT knives? I'd love to actually hold the different models before deciding between the RC-4 or another model.

Of course, there is always the danger I'll come home with *more* than one RAT! :p

I haven't been to a knife show in a very long time, figured I may try to go to this one.

I don't know for sure. I was wondering about RC and Busse. They usually have a decent array of knives there. I'm new to the quality knife scene so never really looked before. I usually go but will have to miss this one. If you see anything this weekend, let us know.

Well, that was a disappointing trip, from a knife perspective. A few "custom" knife makers I was not familiar with. Very few booths even had any what I would call "quality" knives. Most of the knives looked like they belonged at the 99-cent store.

I only found one dealer there that carried any Rat knives, and his price was about $60 too high :( and he didn't have much selection. I had hoped to be maybe coming home with one today, guess I'll have to order online once I'm sure what I want.

DANG! I'll be home in a couple weeks and was hoping the gun show would be then. :(

I have been to the market hall show about 3 times in 08/09 and Never saw any RAT dealers. Kinda sad. Just about every other dealer is out there though. Have fun.

It looks like there will be another gun show the Oct 3 & 4th at the old Big Town Mall center. No idea if there will be any RAT dealers at that one.

I just happened to go to this one spur-of-the-moment since I didn't have other commitments today, the Mesquite one would actually be closer to me.

I still ended up buying an RC-4 today, I just had to order it online, so won't get it until another week. The one dealer that even had RAT at the show today didn't have much selection (I wanted the orange-handled one) and I wouldn't have minded paying a little extra in person, but an extra $60-70 was a bit too much of a premium.

I've been to many gun and knife shows and I mostly just see the cheaper knive from china etc. Even those knives are too expensive. It's hard to find any kind of deal at gun shows anymore. They want too much for their stuff.

Yeah most dealers at gun shows want waay too much. Its fun to handle new models and stuff though.
