The RAT fest is still happening!!!!! The location has been changed. read on for further information.

Due to construction Lake Stubblefield is closed until Nov. 1. We have spent the past 2 days looking for a new location for the RAT fest and have found one (and now i need a drink!:D).

Here is a link to the new location.

Thank Tony and Drew for the help they gave in finding a new location
Oct 2nd-4th.

Btw, you can not harvest firewood from the campground! If you want to build a fire to eat you must bring firewood!!!

Ok here are the rules

1. all your allowed to bring is one knife and whatever you can fit in an altoids tin.......oh wait wrong thread.........please disreguard unless your feel adventurous....me I am still trying to figure out how to put the fridge in my blackhawk pack.....Drew

Ratcliff... the name sure fits!. Is the date still the same? Might want add the date to your original post.
Thanks to everyone setting this up.

Drew- does that mean i can't bring kids? THEY don't fit in an altoids tin ;)

i know right? that's what i thought when we picked that one. Are you coming? despite the "rule" of not holding spots we're going to try to anyway.

Date is the same .... Oct 2nd-4th.
thanks for changing my OP

You know...oddly enough, considering how much we obsess about PSK gear...I don't think I've ever seen that particular use for the tin itself mentioned.

...kids are smart.

you could borrow them and observe how they do things..maybe pick up a few new "moves." what do ya say? how about the weekend of Oct 2nd?:D

i'm bringing this thread BTT. the other RAT fest thread doesn't have the correct location in it since stubblefield got closed :grumpy:.

getting closer. do you have your crap ready?

Unfortunately my retirement ceremony is on the 2nd and retirement dinner is that evening or the wife, 2 pups and I would be there. This location makes it much more feasable for us... I really wish it was like a week later, maybe next year

Jim
