Just saw this on another website, I think it looks awesome. Didn't see anyone post it, think I should share with all of you :D

This was a rendering done a while ago for a planned Izula folder. It has since been put on the back burner. However, they announced at SHOT 2011, that they will be releasing a ESEE-3 folder in the future. There are some cool photos of the proto if you go to the ESEE sub forum.
 
Thats a sweet little knife and I hope someday ESEE will build it.

The ESEE-3 folder looks like a nice looking knife too. I can't wait for that to be released.

I don't go to the ESEE sub forum very offenly, thanks for the tip, I'll go check it out now:thumbup:

Also it was announced that when the izula folder comes out, it will not be a frame lock.
Also suggest checking out the DPx HEST folder that's coming out
 
That izula folder will be perfect for me...when it hits!
 
im itching to get my first esee knife! this one could be it!
what other knives do you guys recommend for a first timer with esee?
i do love fixed blades too!
 
It is isn't a framelock I probably won't buy one or two like I planned when I first saw the rendering a year ago or more and not because I am a Framelock fanboy only, but because to a larger degree, if it ends up being a liner lock then it's just another knife even more.

looks like a nice framelock, hope its out soon. have a hest folder on pre-order right now and from what im hearing theres no new news on when the next shipments are going to come out of lion steel. bummed. cant find any of the 2011 models i want at normal prices.

I hope its out soon too, that and the HEST/F look like some sweet blades.
 
That's not RAT folder. RAT is an Ontario mark. It is a proposal for an ESEE folder.

Yes and No.

Yes its real. That is the ESEE Izula folder. It is in the works to be made but there is no time line for its production.

No Its not real. Because, that is not a real knife it looks to be a very well done 3D computer rendering of the design.
 
This folder will be put in production but no timeline has been set from what I've been readin

The setback of the ESEE3 folder I imagine is not gonna help this knife get off the ground any time soon

Btw this is the folder I want to get my hands on :)
 
I love reading the posts on the ESEE folders...It is the knife that led me here in the first place. It was featured in a knife mag I was reading, It was love at first sight! Weather it is the 3 or the Izzy, I will order one as soon as it is available to do so. Unless they would like to sell me a prototype for a undisclosed price B-)
