Does anyone have or handled the new RAT knife?

Yep, got mine a few days ago. I'm working on a review with some tests to post in the next few days.

Here are some early shots, one with a Benchmade Griptilian for size. (it was raining, so sorry for the water spots in the pictures)

Thats a cool looking little knife. Whats the dip in the blade for? Like an wrench? And why the little spike off the pommel area?

Ok I see it doubles as a wire cutter and a bottle opener....but still why the small spike? I might pick one up cuz a free book is with it!

Bottle opener, I've tried it, works fine.

And why the little spike off the pommel area?

Pry bar and/or scrapper. Also will work on many standard and some philips screws.

The first 250 serial numbers ones are already out at www.dpxgear.com

Regular non numbered production ones I think will hit dealers in August.

Finally received my H.E.S.T #0043. I really love this knife, I ordered on the 22nd and received yesterday the 3rd not bad time considering free media mail shipping.
