I cannot decide, I already have a RAT and the quality is great, but the BK11 is cheaper and has a nicer sheath. I'll eventually get both, but I'm getting one now and it'll be a while before I get the other. Please help me decide.

izula, i love mine!
mine is #0077 :D

I have both of them already. I think RAT has better quality in term of the knife itself and the sheath. RAT came sharp out of the box and the sheath fit perfectly without any rattle. I really like the knife ergo in the hand. Even it smaller than BK-11, but it feel much better in the hand.

BK-11 in the sheath is secure but it rattle inside. And for some reason, after the knife is sharpened to a hair poping sharp level, when I put it back in the sheath in and out for few times, then the knife get dull again without using it. I am not sure if the inside sheath touch any part of the edge or not. And even if it does, the plastic should not dull the knife that easily. Is this because of the bad heat treatment? I do not know.

Hope that helps.

I was in the same predicament that you're in MOF. I ended up with the Necker because the sheath carry options were better. It's a great knife, great sheath (mine has zero rattle, and I have noticed the retention spacer things do wear the edge of the knife, but only if it's somewhat dull). My only complaint was the edge on mine wasnt ground very high and right now I'm having a hard time keeping it sharp. Once I re profile it it should be good. I also got the KA BAR TDI Clip which you can screw on the sheath and carry the knife IWB. Its awesome, sticks right to the hip and doesnt protrude through clothes.

I'll be getting an Izula shortly, I think (because I'm a little happier with my RC4 than I am with either of my Beckers) that I will like the Izula more, but I do wish the sheath was easier to carry IWB. Plus, you know about RAT's stellar warranty.

Tough call. Just get both.

I got a Becker and I love it.
My friend has a Izula and I love that too.
Both knives are very similar. The Beckers got a bit more blade then handle, the Izula vice versa.
My becker had a poor edge at first too, I had to reprofile it
I did not like the sheath on my Becker (too big and square) and ended up molding my own.
I think if I were you I'd get the Izula and pick your own color and get a good sheath.

Unless you want to mold some kydex......
