A few months back (April) I got my RAT Pack knife from Jeff. He was kind enough to set it aside while I was out of the country. I’ve had it for a few months now and finally made time to take some pictures of it and share with you guys. The number 8 is my favorite number and I feel lucky to be the #8 RAT Packer!

Is that a sterile (no logo) black Izula eagle?

I'm a noob, what is this so called "RAT Pack" exclusive knives? :p
I can see the screws, etc. that makes it different from your normal RC-3.

that izula looking one is the ESEE/Becker EsKabar.

the rat pack knife was a special run done for rat pack members last year, the black blade/orange G10, the ESEE logo, and the "RP" screws are what differentiate it from a stock ESEE3.

nice pix Rueben.

Thanks.
Just purchased two Izula's. Not jealous of the different one as seen above :p

Edit: Where can I purchase the ESEE/Becker EsKabar? I just want to read about it and see it's price.
Googling..

'Becker BK14 EsKaBar Winner onado2000, Rat Pack# 25'

The "BRAT" knife has an official name now: Becker BK14 EsKaBar reflecting the heritage of all involved.

The knives are "flowing across the production room floor" and ETA to public is August/September...

Keep an Eye out for this newest addition !!

Oh well.

No, thank you for your answer.

I'm jealous, I want my ESKABAR. Nice picks and glad you made it back, brother. Moose

Congrats , I was hoping you got one of the RP3's being your one of the Originals
Great pics as always .

The pumpkin colored 3 wasn't my thing, but those are some way cool pictures you've taken. IMO - the used RAT's are best looking in the bunch!

I needs me an EsKabar - any dealers have them yet?

Awesome pictures (here AND the Alaska thread).

Question.... your H•E•S•T has the scales upside down. Do you find it more comfortable to use this way? I would think it would be for normal use, but that the ... upright orientation would be better for using the pry-bar (which DOES look like it has gotten some use). Just wondering.

Are they really upside down? I didn't notice. I took them off to stash some goodies inside, maybe then I screwed it up. The pry bar has gotten some serious use, so has the the wire breaker, it works. I used the pry bar while the knife was in the sheath.

They are the opposite of the way mine arrived. And there is at least one other user on here that has mentioned they feel better reversed. I haven't flipped mine, because I like the look the way the came originally, and they feel fine to me. But I have the impression that you use your ESEE's more, or at least harder, than mine, so I wanted your impression. I guess if it was unintentional, that kinda goes by the wayside. :)

Thanks, though.
