Rat Pack Forum Knife Question?

Sorry if I missed this anywhere, I understand that the RP knife will be a plain edge, orange scaled handle, but which knife will it be based upon? I'm assuming RC-3, I'm just curious as I'm ordering more of the Rat lineup this evening and I would like an example of each one. Again, I apologize if this has already been answered. I want it regardless of which knife it's based upon(I've already posted in the signup thread), but I was just wondering. Thanks in advance!

Yes it is supposed to be an RC-3. That's why I didn't get one of those yet. Still on the fence about getting the Izula.

Thanks for clarifying that, I was pretty sure it would be, but I just wanted to be certain. I ordered an RC-4 and an Izula last night to go with my RC-6, just want to be well-rounded in my selection of wicked RAT knives!
 
Well, I already have an RC-6, (got it last week) and I just ordered an RC-4, and an Izula last night, and then I'll have the RP Forum knife! Amazing how quickly this gets out of hand.....

They are dangerous. Want their own company - before you know it you get a second ... then you justify it with the 4 colors, and after that you'll need a 5th because your very first is ready for stripping ...

And then you need an Izula for each and every pack and bag around the house ... of course plus the one you carry ... wrong the choice of Izulas to carry on your person ...:D

Well in the past month I have bought the RC-6, RC-5, two more RC-4s that haven't yet arrived, and the HEST. I guess I'll get an Izula and try it out. I'll get the pink one, in case I don't like it, one of my daughters will take it for sure. :D

Your gonna like the Izula. You'll be amazed on how such a small knife can do so much. It will become your most used knife......well maybe not if your a countryboy. :). In the city ppl get squeemish when you pull out big blades.:eek:
 
I have a question, since it will be modeled after the RC-3, will i have a flat grind on the blade? I know that this is probably a stupid question...
 
It IS an RC3. So same shape, grind, etc.

Just one with a fairly unique color scheme and nifty logos and numbering.

don't get me started on wrap colors. Then when you have more 550 chord colors than a SERE instructor, you start on combination wrap jobs and different types of wraps.
