Picked for no other reason than that the crappiness of your Izulas coatings jumped out at me while I scanned the pics.

E-mail Derrick with a thank you and your mailing addresses. And don't forget that you owe him a detailed review.;)

Thank you for supporting the community Derrick.

This week, we are rolling out a new leather sheath for the IZULA.

It was designed to use on the belt, but also works well as a neck sheath.

rc_izula_leather.jpg

This is not a normal, run of the mill, sheath. It literally puts the knife in your hand with just a flick of your thumb. It is one of the slickest designs I have seen.

I want to get some of these into the hands of an RC user, so we are giving 2 away.

Here are the rules of the giveaway--

We want these to go to working IZULAs, so to enter, Post your RAT Pack number and a pic of your working IZULA.
I will ask one of the mods to draw 2 winners on November 15
Once you have the sheath, I would like to see a review with pictures.

oh....people have commented on the size of this sheath. I think some of that is in the angle of the photography. Here is a comparison shot with the standard IZULA sheath.

phone pic i just took of the izula i've been using daily for almost 4 months. just sharpened it up last night, so some of the wear marks (mostly from cutting cardboard) have been smoothed out.

that's a great looking sheath! thanks for the oppurtunity.

Izula.jpg pic taken on phone sorry for quality-but thanks for the opportunity.I've been looking at this very sheath for awhile.

generous offer. I have a user izula but it isnt my edc. I hope some real users win one:)

I have one of these on the way and can't wait to be sporting it!

My Izula is my EDC for work and it typically stays in my pocket. I'm constantly adjusting it in the pocket as it rotates and moves around.

I've worn it on my belt with a Tek-Loc but found it to be a bit bulky with such a small knife.

looks like this sheath will put an end to those problems for me.

Thanks for the giveaway Derrick!

Thanks for the chance! I was just using my Izula to try to dig some fatwood (unsuccessfully) out of some stumps I found. Sadly, there wasn't any fatwood to be found.

I'll throw my RP number in the hat... since I'll be off hunting till the 15th I wont have any new pics of the Izula at work... so I'll post my moose hunting pics. Most of you have already seen these...

The Izula is a great hunter (and I got it at KSF!).

Pumpkin carving with my Izula.

Debris shelter built using only my Izula.

Here's mine in it's present condition. It may not look like it, but I've beaten the snot out of it and it's taken it all and begged for more. It's batoned kindling for the wood stove in the winter, helped me start my first friction fire, opened cans when I left my P51 in the car, and opened literally hundreds of boxes. Still looks pretty good, eh?

Here it is when it helped me start my first bow drill fire! I still had a foliage green wrap on it then. :)

Mine rides in my pocket everyday at the farm to cut bale stings off of hay, and to cut everything else that comes along. I've found that by keeping a paracord lock on the front of the sheath it pulls out and stays there so that I can resheath it and it stay's handy when I'm cutting twine, when I'm done I just push it back down in my pocket.

Thank's for the chance, that's a great looking sheath!
