RAT pack knife design disscussion thread

We need to nail down some specifics on the artwork for the RP knife.

Jeff has asked that we not bastardize the existing logos so it's either the ESEE or the RAT triangle logo.

We also need to decide where we want the RP numbers.

I personally would like to see the ESEE logo with the RP numbers on the pommel where the serial numbers go on the RC-5 and RC-3MIL.

Let's hear what everyone else thinks!

+1 on everything Shotgunner said, I have an Rc-5 and love the ESEE logo, and I think the # will last longer on the pommel than on the blade.
 
that or on the throat of the blade ... kinda protected while its sheathed etc... but yea im on board....
 
i also agree with you folks... :thumbup: it would be cool to have the RP #'s on there...

is there a knife design chosen already??
 
Visually I'd like it on the blade...from a practical standpoint it makes sense to have it on the pommel area. +...4 is it now? :)
 
I don't care where the Rat Pack # is, but I want it on there. Also, I like the ESEE logo as well.
 
ESEE Logo, RP # on pommel or on the blade by the logo. Maybe have the knife labeled like the RC-3MIL, ex: RC-3RPK.

I guess I am in the minority here, but i would like the standard Rat logo. RP numbers on the pommel works for me.

I also like AKnife's idea about naming it RC-3RPK.
