Rat Pack Number

Aaaah, I can only imagine how hot it must be out there. 2 weeks ago I was backpacking through Scotland during the one week per year that there was no rain and a lot of sunshine. 'Lucky bastard...!' I hear you thinking? No, sir! Humpin' hills with a 12+ kilo (not counting the weight of the water) pack full of foul weather gear for 8 days in 25 degrees or so is not my idea of fun. But then again, we never intended it to be ;)
It was an awesome trip though, met some good people, and got to play with my outdoor stuff  which is always a good thing!

Anyway, I would guess that your area is not that humid. If so then perhaps the heat might be somewhat more bearable, but I'm just assuming here.

Note to self: Visit the USA, dumbass!!...

Oh wow it is true, nobody checks the stickies :D

 The what?

:D They are like a speed limit sign on a well traveled road, you know they're there, your pretty sure you know what it says, why read it?

Of course I do read the stickies most of the times.

:D My bad I thought I kept it off topic, oh well maybe next time.

Also if you are coming to America make sure to stop somewhere in four seasons country to take a look at the beautiful Appalachian Mountains.

Okay, I just got a map to refresh my memory on that one...

Ah, ehm, where in the Appalachians? It 's a rather large strech of globe (for a dutchman that is :o) you're covering with this (if in fact it matters at all where one visits the area ).

Thanks,

From West Virginia down through the Carolinas, pretty mountains, great people, and decent weather all year around.

Sounds like a fantastic hiking opportunity! Hmmm, I need to ponder on this a little, just to have an idea on how I can make this work...maybe a sabbatical of 2-3 months, combine it with some other stuff, that kind of thing. Oh, and I got to go to Texas, the 'South of Dallas' area, of course. Otherwise this thread would be completely useless ...:D

Just yankin' some chains a little :D

Cheers,

This thread is now about waffles.

Look at the texturing of the strawberries then look at the waffles, it is almost like the were made for each other. :grumpy: I just now noticed that whoever poured the syrup did a pretty crappy job, I mean come on you have to get it all over BOTH waffles.

So which is better pancakes or waffles?
