hi ya'll,

just wanted to share something with ya. i was picking up a couple knife cases from a local maker. so happen's i had a kill devil and crash rat in the truck that day. while picking up my order, i asked if they had something that either of these rat's would fit in to keep them from banging around while in transport. after some heming and hawing, and a trip out to grab both of them for a size reference. this is what we came up with to pack my rat's around.

these are u.s. made cases of very nice quailty. this model is actually a scoped pistol case. the inside is lined with a soft material, and padding in between the inner and outter shell. for being slim you can really put some stuff in them. one of these is for the crash rat's, the other for my devil's. even with a tec-loc on both fit nice and zip right up.

it was a little harder to zip the one with the devil's. but it did it, cardboard sleves and all.

also here is one of their zip cases for a knife. very well built stuff, might have to get a few more of them. they come with or without elastic on the outside to hold a sheath. hope ya enjoyed these, thank ya for looking.

I like the idea of using scoped pistol cases! Nice collection as well! :)
 
Sure is brother. the other two with wrapped grip's are going to suffer a similar fate.
 
Is there some irony here? Padded cases for car-eating hawks? Play rough, relax in style; gotta love it.
 
as soon as i get a couple more volenteer's, we can do a few more video's.

got to take care of them when not in use.

let me know, i might get a few more of these when picking up some regular knife cases.
 
Im not here for the cases, Im here cuz u have an awesome collection of hawks and hatchets and I luvz seein them. :p:thumbup:

And your collection is killer!
 
the fit is nice for what they are, price is $25 a piece. six rat's are behind the truck seat's as this moment. scary thing is all the cheese in there is safe.
