RAT Questions...

Well, unless a Safari Skinner drops from a passing airplane and lands in my yard, I don't see a lot of hope of finding one. So I looked at the rest of the RAT line. (NOTE: They really need to update that web site; the Safari Skinner stares back at me from the top of the page every time I look at the knives. Pure torture.)

Now I'm thinking about a Ratweiler and a Howling Rat. With a child to take care of, I can't afford to be a Hog (they're a little too snooty for my tastes anyway). And I can get a couple of RATs for less than what one Busse would cost.

Questions....

Doubtful that these would go out in the same shipment, right? One would show up and then the other?

Is the Ratweiler sheath similar to the sheaths that come with the Becker line?

Does the Howling Rat come with a sheath?

Why are Hogs evil?

Hog's are more snouty than snooty, and broke most of the time. Price depends on whatcha get, my Heavy Duty cost less than a Ratwieler, and not a whole lot more than a CT.

Technically the Ratwieler doesnt come with a sheath, but the optional sheath is a kydex cordura thing, and the other options from our sheathmakers are endless. The Howler comes with a leather sheath, and not a bad one at that.

Hogs arent inherently evil, only when they slop up INFI right before I can get to it are they EVIL!!! eBay Hogs are the worst kind, quick on the hoof they are. And when the bigger boars show off all those wonderful knives........ well, maybe more are evil than I had at first thought!

Good to hear. It actually doesn't say on the company page, but I kept seeing pictures of it with a similar sheath.

Well, I am thinking of ordering them tomorrow, on the 1st. That way, it'll be easy to keep up with how many months have passed while I wait on them to arrive.
