Hey,

So those are the three knives in consideration those listed in the title.

What would you guys pick and why?

Out of those 3 I would get the Rat RC-6 because it's just a more all around knife.

Any RC/ESEE or Becker, you cant go wrong. With RAT/ESEE you get the lifetime no matter what happens to your knife replacement warrenty and beckers just plain kick ass. I use my BK2 for all my hard use tasks and my HEST for everything else. both will hold an edge through a nuclear bomb blast. Id trust my life to those. Cold steel....not so much.

Get a Spyderco Military. You won't regret it!
(Sorry. Couldn't resist. :p)

I'm glad you posted this !
I had some of the same knife options...but as others have said the warranty of the RC-6 is just too good to pass up!

Another vote for the ESEE-6 (formerly known as the RC-6). It's the best all-'rounder I've yet encountered, and it has that spiffy warranty! :D

the srk does not deserve to be ranked with the other two.

I'd go RC/ESEE 6 first, then BK7 (I have both. Love em both)

The SRK has a hollowground blade, so I'd go for either the ESEE-6 or the BK-7, which do have flatground blades.

If you are considering the BK7 I'd also consider the CS Recon Scout. Couldn't be happier with mine. It would be a better option than the SRK.

Of course the ESEE-6 is a fantastic choice, I don't have one..... yet!
