Well as many of you know I stripped my rc-4 and did a patina on it. Well now i have decided to go off the deep end. Here are my plans. Get an izula, and then strip the coating on it. I know that these knives are users and well i have even used mine to pry rocks in the garden....Gently of course. Well I am going to do vine file work on the back spine of both of them. And then from there make matching scales for both to match. I am thinking spalted maple or something very catchy. Next up will be a 1/2 inch misch metal firesteel with matching wood handle. as for a sheath i have not decided wether or not to do two separate sheaths or to do a combo with the RC4 and Izula in a co-mount type sheath. Well chime in and let the comments rip. Hope i don't need a flame suit on this one!:D

Damn.... Fancy shmancy.

I'd feel bad picking the bar-b-q sauce out from under my nails with a knife with file work on the spine.

To each his own I guess.

Lemme tell ya, I am more down to earth than most folks. Good ol' Texan here, But i am kinda wanting to do this so people can realize just how nice a knife can look and still use the crap outta the thing. And BBQ sauce??? what is that. If u smoke the meat properly no need for sauce....and if you happen to use sauce then why pick it out....you know you are just going back for seconds....and thirds!
