Rat rc6 out for delivery

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I just checked my tracking number and my first RAT, an RC6, is out on the truck for delivery...about 6 hrs away from RATty goodness.

Tell me about it. Ive been researching knives for about 2 months now and i ordered an OD Green IZULA the other day from knivesshipfree. Im eagerly awaiting it. Its been 5 days
 
I hate the waiting part. Instant gratification "I Want It NOW" if not sooner.

I wass gonna buy another RC5, but wound up buying a Koster Survivor from another forum member instead. Can't wait till it gets here.

Your gonna love that RC6.

I like partial serrationg on my outdoor knives...they have always come in handy for me.
 
Congrats on your new RC-6, it's one hell of a knife! The real question is, what's your next one going to be??? The sickness won't allow you to have only one!
 
Well...it arrived.
I love it! Especially the serrations. unlike those of any knife I have ever owned. Look to be more useful than traditional serrations.

Only problem with my order is that the molle lock hardware pack was one screw short. No big deal but kind of annoying.

For you RAT vets...should I be emailing RAT or Knifeworks to get the screw?

I'd drop Knifeworks and email first.

Just tell Roger at knifeworks that you were short a screw and he will send you one...
 
I actually decided it made more sense to send theemail to RAT given that a retailer may have to contact them about it to get the extra screw in the first place. If they want me to get it from KW I will...doesn't really matter where it comes from.

What a sweet knife! Can't wait to get out and put it through its' paces.
 
Just use the paracord for belt carry. The molle locks on the RC6 sheath dont work well for me at all.
 
Actually, once I get the last screw in it will fit perfectly on the upper section of the right shoulder strap of the Camelbak that DblTap sent me (inverted carry so my right hand reaches up to my chest/shoulder strap to draw).
