Rat RC6 Pass review forum

Ryan is putting it together for us. He called me earlier today about it.

with age being an eliminating factor for me I will have to just wait for the pics.

 great ideal ryan

I am actually on the wall of ordering one.

I'll probably get one eventually, just because, but a passaround might just be the ticket to push me over the edge.

Edit:...only been a member for 5.5 months. Not eligible just yet. Damn.

Definitely interested...but not sure if I am eligible. I own two rc-4's and one (soon to be two) izulas. I have so far been resisting the temptation to go for the rc-6, but I am really curious to compare it to what I already have. How long do you have to be a forum member to get in on a pass around?

Sorry. Didn't read carefully enough. :o Apparently I missed this boat. If there is any chance of still participating please let me know. Thanks. Everyone enjoy! I'll be looking forward to the reviews on this one

Wow! I've been drinking too much tonight (yes I know it's sunday, but I have off tomorrow). This one is long gone. I wasn't looking at the dates on which these posts were posted. Still looking forward to the results.

Not sure if anything ever come of this, so I'm unsticking the thread.

ok,first i got the rat 6 my thoughts were, very nice, kinda lite, what would i use this knife for,jus one thing baby, but could this make a good hog knife well lets find out.the handle was good had a good feel an grip to it,,awsome ergo's,the blade design was solid nice belly but not to much, jus enough to be an effective skinner but keeping the tip down for stabbing i like the choil an jimping i can choke up for more control on delicate cuts,6" lenth its enough but a 7-8"blade would be killaz, the blade width was large making a devastating wound channel, the blade thickness was perfect i cant stand sharpened prybars to heavy, this blade felt fast in the hand you can carry it on your hip,an not feel it pulling down your shortz..the sheath i like alot,it really secures the knife in place i was impressed with it alot.hunting in jungle terrain i tend to lose alot of knives.good job on that design.the coating was tough but i couldnt make a spark with my fire rod,jus my opion but on the back of the blade near the tip grind a 1/2 section like a mini blade jus to strike fire rods????OK,so satuday we go to my friends flower nusery pigs come an destroy everything so he likes it when i come to test new knives,me my 2 friendz an my favorite hunting partner my daughter KEALANI,plus 3 dogs not even 10 min. we hit a nice boar 20-30 yards from the house, dogs did their job its the rats turn with one thrust an two pumps the pig was gone, very effective.the dressing was easy the blade cut though the hide like butter, but the width made removing the rectum alittle hard but it could be done .dressing out was a breeze,we hung the pig an started to skin this is were it excelled with that choke grip it was awsome the wide blade glided against the meat cutting though the thick fat as i peeled the skin back, deboning was no problem its an exellent slicer, cut though some bone with no blade damage.got the BBQ ready for some ribs chopped keawe wood (misquite) like nothing.the batteries deid but used it for some food prep an to pop the caps off your heineken...all in all this is one bad a$$ blade ill give it a 9 out of 10...aloha,,,,,,MORE PICS ON NEXT PAGE
