just wondered if the ratsword was still in stock and if not when will the second run be made?

also would you consider doing it in satin?

nope, you may smell prototype but nothing else. as a matter of fact i know of no less than four HOGS who have these in their possession...

before this thread got lost it was the largest read thread in the bed!

over 4500 views before the server crashed, and that's when i decided NOT to send my test sword back!

screw those rat farmers, i'm keeping it till the second run is made :p
 
I think I like the other photoshop with the two-handed handle short sword, I think it was called Hell's Hornet.

a couple of years ago i commissioned the mother of all busse swords to be made in the recesses of the bowels of the earth under busse's shop, to be made by the employees who were being punished by old man busse.

rumors are that these trolls have finally hammered out a blade of epic proportions being close to 3/8" x 42"

further rumors are that in testing the Kira Wasupu it has severed a 6" standing pine in one quartering slice.

I knew that Hell's Hornet was not a photoshop, I was just playing :D

I just wish the Rats had the plans to HH so they could start cranking those out.

If you don't mind me asking what is the HH made from.

I've had my paws on a Busse. If not that very one, then a very close relative. I kind of developed the urge to cut something in half with it.....like maybe a car.... :rolleyes:

Held a 28" Criswell too...that one is STILL eating me.
 
any chance of getting a price on how much the rat sword set you back?

cause i been lookin for a machete, and the 14$ models at the flee market dont really look like what i want :rolleyes: ...


is it differentially heat treated?
 
it was really cheap, say under two hundred, but i didn't have to pay for mine, i was signed up on the sword test team. i think the thread was lost with the big crash of 04.

i once heard a rumor that a ratchete was in the works. it was to be an affordable bush whacker with a nice shock absorbing handle.

i think it was porkersons fault and it got delayed for two weeks.

are there any other specs available on it? weight or thickness?

i would definitely like to be put on the list for the next run of these....
 
I would like to see a swamprat sword. with the same specs as a katana. 28 inch blade. 2 inch sori *curve* 14 inch handle. I'd buy one for kenjutsu. it'd be an interesting cutting blade.
 
i would also order 1 more, the new ones are about 1/8th inch broader in the blade. like a sword but maybe more like a cutlass!!

it doesn't have the tendancy to twist as much in your hand in the heavy brush :cool: :cool:
