Rat Trap = Busse Folder?

If the following question seems obvious, or if I missed something in this forum, go easy on me,(remember; the only dumb question was the one that was not asked), but is the Swamp Rat Rat Trap folder a prototype for the Busse folder? I have seen them for sale on the ShomerTec.com website for $138. Give me a moment to put on a helmet, before you respond!! :D

no, i have both here on my desk and they are totally different in design and materials.
 
Razcob, I have to compliment you on your excellent framing of a question that could get you clubbed in some forums! Your plea for time to put on a helmet was hilarious! People are pretty helpful around here :). The Swamp Rat folder is supposed to be a superb EDC (light, extremely durable, with excellent corrosion resistance in a folder). From everything I hear about the Busse folder it will be stronger than many fixed blades! It is supposed to be built like a bank vault. Rumor has it...

We welcome questions around here. Gives you the opportnity to get some good info, jogs some of our memories, and allows for some playful banter..LOL

The SwampRat folder aka Rat Trap, is not the long awaited Busse folder. It is a liner lock, S30V blade, G10 scales, and smooth as silk.

For the price, it rocks.

The Busse folder is not out yet. There have been a teaser pic or two of it under wraps. It will be worth the wait...... ;)
 
Skunk, your folder probably has a counterfeit sheath also, better send them to me to check out..............

Is the nonexistant folder hypothetically simular in shape and feel to the Rat Trap? Hypothetically that is. ;)
 
As long as it doesn't cost its weight in gold. Razcob: Watch out for a certain Idahoskunk. He often offers to store and certify newcomers Busse's at his Idaho site. Don't fall for it. However, if you want to have them stored and certified at the Busse Canada site, drop me a line.

hahahahaa, they have you fooled....the busse folder is just a myth, like sasquatch.......or is that jerry? :D
 
No, Jerry is sasquatch, and several other quite famous characters! Thats why he doesnt have time to come up with some folder, al those appearances to take care of to keep the rumur mills going.
