Rat Trap Question

The new folder looks great. I have a question about the liners and the clip. What are the handles made of G-10? Are the screws that secure the clip threaded into the G-10 or are they drilled and tapped into a metal liner?

All screws including the ones that holds the clip are into metal. The handles are indeed G-10.
 
Thanks for the quick reply. I was very disappointed to have the threads strip on a REKAT Carnivore cub. The clip was not secured to the liners.

I may have to pick one of these up. Looks likes a great knife
 
I been carrying my RT in my back pocket every day since about the first of December. at least days I have on jeans. Clip has lost a lot of the black crinkle coat, but is still rock solid..

I can't imagine the RT going away off the order page, but just never know.

You know that you can flip the clip to the opposite side....

Holes are already tapped,, also into the metal liner. :thumbup:
 
How long the delivery usually takes? I (actually, my friend) finally ordered one at shomertec. 2weeks, month?
 
If Shomer-tec has them in stock, then they ship out right away. :thumbup:

Before you start to celebrate, you might want to contact Shomer Tec, and find out if they are in stock. I think someone posted here a while ago saying they are sold out.
Either way, I think it is worth the wait.:thumbup:

Yes I remember that thread, been said that only 6 ones are left. I called my buddy, he said he contacted Shomertec by phone to be sure. The tricky part is to forward send it to Moscow... but USPS job is exellent, so I gather its time to open shampagne!:D
 
If I order one from the official SW site, will it ship like a normal SW, or will it come faster?
 
Someone mentioned awhile back that the Traps ship out much faster than the normal Rats, maybe someone else can chime in here.............. ;)
 
I got mine really quick. Within a couple weeks of ordering. From SW.
 
Just today I ordered my second one (actually for my son's 17th birthday). I'll try to remember to post here when it arrives, if that will help anyone. I realize times will vary with different orders and that by the time it shows up you may not need to know anymore, but it'll be one example anyway. :thumbup:
