Rat Trap vs BladeTech ProHunter vs Millie

I like the Blade-Tech ProHunter. It is very nice and smooth! GOOD LUCK! Kevin:)

The bg42 version of the military is one of the sharpest knives i've ever owned. it cuts almost like no other knife i've seen, & its my only spyderco.i highly recommend it,for about 150.00,it would be less than another rat trap, its similar in weight & thickness. the carbon fiber handles are nice, too. they dont chip off at the reflective corners like other carbon fiber handles ive seen or had.lock up is perfect,so is the blade grind.its like a custom!

Millie is ok, exellent grip and long blade, just don't like that "hump" much.
Besides f/f on Rat (and supposedly on PH) is better.
so…
Millie
+handle
-hump on spine

Bladetech
+looks like rat much but with better grip
-shorter blade

Rat
+almost everything
-$$

edit:
I posted this before on the SRKW-forum to show the similarities between the two..
The BT is my EDC. It carries better, and sits better in my hand.
The RT is a little bit better in slicing since the edge is a tad thinner and the blade wider..

both alongside a millie..

:)

so what's it gonna be?

I've owned the Military and Rat Trap. I sold the Rat Trap and carry the Military almost daily.

The Rat Trap felt flimsy to me. It was just way too thin. I loved the blade shape, but the Military's ergos were much better. The lock on the Military also felt way more solid to me. I sold the RT because it was too similar without being better than the Millie.

It should be noted that Blade Tech manufactured a lot of the parts for the Rat Trap.
