Why were the Rat traps by swamp rat made in cpm s30v steel? Dose infi or sr101 not fold smooth or something?

I thought the Rat Traps were D2. When Infi and Folder meets It will have the Busse name on it, also sr101 is not an ideal choice for a folder due to its rust resistance, while it is managable to prevent rust on a fixed blade of sr101 a folder using it would take a bit more effort.

There are Infi folders, they were given to some people with a gag order. However there are some pics out there if one is strong with the google-foo.

i was looking at old threads and it looks like alot were custom so we have to wait for busse to push out all the orders and open back up the custom shop and that could take a very long time considering OP2W soon hopefully.

i only bought and handled my first Busse around the time i joined here. 4-21-16. so im pretty new. i have a few coming from the Busse website probably next year but i have been dreaming to place a custom order since i saw it was possible at one time.

IIRC, the actual maker was Blade Tech (?)

When I came on the scene in 2001 the folder was already being fussed about how long is it gonna be.

I have an old American Survival Guide from the Straight Handle era, late 90's, that mentions the folder. So yea, its been talked about for a little while.
