Where oh where could my Rat Trap be, oh where oh where could it be, with scales so black and a blade soo sharp oh where oh where could it be.....I think I ordered one....I'm almost sure I remember ordering one. Maybe it's all a dream. Yah thats the ticket, it's just a dream.......................

It'll come... Flying out of the sky one day... when you least expect it... :D :D

Just out of curiosity, does anyone understand the business angle going on with these long waits? I get it when a custom knife maker wants to have a long waiting list but I cant figure out why the wait in this case. I would have already put my order in if it wasn't for reading situations like this all the time. What is the explanation?

Yeah, must be a business angle
Give me a break. The explanation is, there is high demand and Rome wasn't built in a day. Of course since you have not ordered one of the knives, you really have nothing to complain about.

Gentlemen,I'm willing to wait if it means this knife will be perfect. After all good things come to those who wait. I just got a little bored waiting.

I had ordered a Ratweiler Mid-January and received it on June 12.

It was really worth the waiting!

I got a Click-N-Ship notification from Eric....gotta be that folder:cool: Thanks!! Great timing, because I got no love from Amy...yet;)

Never mind...notification was for a SW ice pick delivered June 30th

I am pretty sure that it has to do with availability of parts, availability of the shop and production schedules. Oh, and military orders get top priority. If the military is ordering rats, then they don't have time to make Rat Traps.

I don't like the wait time either, but it is a fact of life when dealing with Swamp Rat or Busse either for that matter. The fact that I am still here, and still ordering knives from both of them (or at least I will be ordering again once they start taking orders again) may tell you something about my opinion of "is it worth it".

I thought I heard a fat lady clearing her throat getting ready to sing and sure enough my Rat Trap arrived! This is one sweet a** knife. I'd like to thank all the little people who made this possible. Seriously though, SRK keep up the excellent work. It's just a thing of beauty.

I got my folder yesterday!

I ordered it on about March 30th, so they should be on their way.

we'll need pics. we always need pics. I dream of the knives from Wauseon. yep they're showing up in other peoples hands in my dreams. Time for my meds.

anyway congrats Hilly!!!

I ordered one earlier this week. I wonder how long it will take for my rat trap to arrive? Maybe they made enough to fill all orders now. I hope its not two months! (although it would be worth it).
