Can someone shed some light for me on this awesome folder?

Is this an item that is still current in the Swamp Rat line-up or has it been discontinued?

If this is the case, can I ask what the thinking is?

Why is this fabulous knife not produced anymore? I think it is one of the greatest folder designs I have ever seen!

The only thing I would change is the clip, as I prefer tip up.

But it is such a rare beast that it is now commanding very high prices and it is very hard to obtain.

I know this is not an unusual state of affairs with the Busse family products, but it seems weird to me.

Please can we have more Rat Traps!

it has been discontinued. there were some released at the last knob creeok event (iirc).
STR who has his own forum here is able to make them tip-up if you luck up on one here

With a STR clip it must be a smoking EDC indeed. I love the way he allowed for the lanyard hole there. Top notch work.

The Millie is the closest I can get right now :grumpy:
