Should be available after mid-May sometime. You will be able to order form the dealers that stock our regular line. I know Derrick at KnivesShipFree has them on order from us, as well as Roger at KnifeWorks.

argh, RC-6, IZULA, OD-orange RC3, i'm gonna need to work some overtime ><

Not to be picky, but remember we are talking about an RC-3, not a RAT-3.

;)

I'm new to the Rat Knives, so bear with me. What is the difference? Any pics/links to see for myself?
The R-3 was made by Ontario under contract with RAT, the designer. The RC-3 is being made in USA by an independent knifemaker who is more responsive to the RAT guys and puts out a superior product.

Look to the header of the forum page and you'll find

RAT Cutlery Company Cutlery from well-known adventurers and jungle survival instructors, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin of Randall's Adventure & Training (RAT). RAT knives are recognized and serve in combat zones around the world. Visit their website at http://www.ratcutlery.com

Thanks for the info. I've been to the site already. Very nice knives. So, can I assume the RC-3 is a better knive then the RAT-3? Also, the whole RC line is better than the RAT (Ontario) line? The title of the thread sez RAT3, but the pics look like a RC-3, am I wrong?

RAT and Ontario are no longer partners. (There's a lot of discussion about that on their forum.) We don't know now if the R series Ontario is still selling is from the contract period or if they are still producing them or if they are now an inferior product.

The RC series are an upgrade from the best of the Rs.
