OK, let me try another route...anybody got both of these and what do you think? I read high priae for both, and especially the rat. I have researched but can't find definitive definitions of weights and grinds. I would like a blade of this length and style that could do some light chopping and splitting, yet still be a good slicer: That's correct, I want an all-around knife. I do understand that blade geometry is just as important as width for slicing and such. Somebody help me, so I can choose one before it is too late for factory prices. Thanks.cwd
