Ratmandu ever offered in satin?

I've got an M9LE and HCLE. I prefer a full height grind, satin finish and g-10 slabs. I figure a ratmandu would probably be a good knife to fill the gap in between. I know its a saber grind and I have never seen it in satin. I had a DMDC but it felt more like a wedge than a carver. Any suggestions?

I don't believe it's ever been released in satin. That SR101 takes a serious commitment to maintain as far as corrosion, it will begin to corrode in the time it takes to blink. Maybe one day they will do a round in INFI or even 154CM. I guess if you're looking for an LE then you maybe you're just looking for a safe queen and corrosion resistance doesn't matter.

I'm also not a fan of satin SR-101. I got rid of my M9LE for that reason. I loved everything else about the knife, but I like to be lazy with my blades, and lazy is a good way to give yourself a lot of work cleaning rust marks off your LE.

You could always buy a regular RMD and send it to any one of the very talented knife modders who frequent these forums to have a full flat satin grind put on it.
