RatManDu in a Spec-Ops Combat Master..?

I've heard that the shorter Combat Master sheath works well with the RMD, but is there anyone who can confirm this? Please be specific (how does it fit, did you need to remold the insert and so forth?).

I'm trying to weigh all my sheath options.

So i'm new to Swamp Rats. Where do you turn for sheaths? I got my HRLM in yesterday. Now i'm looking for a sheath. I thought manyb ea spec-ops would work but it would be huge compared to the HRLM. Does anyone have any ideas what directions i need to look for a survival style sheath like these spec-ops ones?
 
I've seen some nice sheaths come from semper peratus sheaths. You'd have to send your knife in though.

Does anyone have experience with the Blackhawk Airborne Deluxe Knife Sheath?

Judging purely by the pictures, it seems to be quite similar to the Spec-Ops sheath, but in a slightly smaller size that might fit a RMD a little better.

Black Hawk makes a really nice sheath. I would put it on par with spec ops. My Chris Reeve fixed blade came in a Black Hawk sheath and I was extremely impressed with the quality. In my opinion you can't go wrong with Black Hawk. As far as whether that particular Black Hawk will fit a Ratmandu I really couldn't say.

That is a good looking sheath. Not as bulky as some others. Does it look wide enough for the RMD blade? 1-5/16" wide.

Specs:
NOTE:
44AK01 series is designed to fit blades up to 7" long, 1.25" wide and 0.25" thick

44AK02 series is designed to fit blades up to 5.5" long, 1.25" wide and 0.25" thick

The short Spec Ops fits both my Desert Rat and RMD very well. However, the Spec Ops is just a little longer than it needs to be for the RMD.
