Ratmandu Love

Well I finally stripped the Ratmandu and gave it a quick 220 grit rub down. Heres where shes at so far theres a pretty aggressive tooling mark down near the sweep of the blade but so far I like the way she looks. I think later this week I'll buy some finer grits and see where I end up.

I originally wasn't going to strip the coatings around the handle but now I think I will.

Also gave an old axe head I'm refinishing and re-hanging a vinegar bath and scrub down.

Hey yeah I remember reading your thread on that. The marks on mine actually somewhat faded just with 220 grit so I might go over it once more with 220 and then start to work my way up.

I personally like symmetry so I'll try and sand them out on my next go.
