Ratmandu- What is it good for?

So I think I'm gonna be picking up one of these. They get rave reviews and Im wondering if anyone has anything to say about what they use this knife for? Seems
to me like a good mid sized blade for doing everything, not great for small stuff, not great for chopping but can functionally pull off both.

So, what do you use yours for? Is this a good "survival" blade, if youre gonna take off and carry only 1 blade with you.





Also- recommendations on plastic sheath?

I have mine on my kit. I have built plenty of hides with it. Pretty good for cleaning game and wood processing.

Actually, they are great work/camp knives with excellent blade steel. They can get crazy sharp too if you change edge geometry a bit.
