just picked up a black/black G10 RMD on the exchange.

All i can say is WOW, if all SRKW knives are this good i might have to buy more:thumbup:

I had a question for you Vermin

Is the higher risk of rust/corrosion of the SR101 VS INFI a problem????, i plan on using this as a camp knife and retiring my Skinny ASH-1.

I use Boeshield on my knives and haven't had any rust. YMMV, it definitely will rust faster than Infi.

As long as you wipe it down when it gets wet and keep stored in a dry place you wont have any problems. My stripped Rats have done very well, other than a nice patina on my Rat Mastiff.

I know mine's a keeper. No action shots with it yet but the RatManDu has made one trip on a half day trail hike and made a walking staff from a limb of a fallen oak for a city girl who was hiking with us. I cut it to size and when we stopped I let her use the RMD to skin the bark for a grip. She loved it but she's the kind of person who can't imagine paying more that $20 for a knife but will buy a blouse for $80 to wear only once.
