Will be next weekend. Got to get down to see the inlaws for the holidays. Didn't get down around christmas due to no power from the snow storm.

I'm hoping to move down there the end of this year or the beginning of 2011. Hopefully having a couple acres of land and a good garden for feeding the family and whatnot. Might raise some rabbits for eating too.

What I want to do is go back to the simple life. I'm basically working poor where I am at here, might as well enjoy the environment while I'm at it. Go back to hunting and fishing, 'sengin.

I ain't there yet, but I sure as hell hope that 2011 is the year. About 17 years ago, I was going to be a town cop in Pound. I knew one of the guys down there when I would visit and stuff. Got caught up here making a living and never went any further than that.

Yeah, I'll be trading in the Irish Mafia state government for some faction of Dixie Mafia state government, same-same, no changey-changey, but the scenery is better and the taxes are lower. The sight of a BB-gun or a pellet rifle is no need to call 911, etc., etc., ad infinitum.

I have not been to Grundy in over twenty years.

My Wife and I were married in Big Stone Gap, which is still Wise County, which Pound, Wise and Norton are located in.

Don, I live in Bristol Va about an hour and a half from there. It really is a great part of the country here. I really hope 2011 works out the way you hope good luck on the big move and enjoy it once you get here.
