Have you guys seen the new Rat Pack?

It's a sheath/bag combo for the RC5 or RC6. Very nice!

What does this have to do with Busse knives? Well, just wanted to let you guys know...I just slipped my SJTAC into it; and she fit like it was made for her!

Always good to have options!

What thickness was your SJTAC?

Combat Grade...0.187", I think. If you look down into the kydex sleeve, you'll see that it folds over but isn't anchored. Instead, the folded flap sort of fits underneath the round tube that holds the sharpener (sorry...I know that was an awful description! It's hard to describe without a picture!). Point being, that the sleeve has some give to it that gives a friction grip on the side of the blade. But above the edge, not on it...I looked into the opening at the bottom of the sleeve, and the edge did not seem to be rubbing directly against the kydex...at least not much that I could see. I imagine that it would have enough give to fit a slightly fatter SJTAC in there. But I'll say this...that CG SJTAC slid in and was gripped like a glove.

It's a hell of a nice design....I've been looking at some other folks' postings in the RAT forum to see what they're putting into it, so I can outfit mine (I'm a shameless mimic!). And don't get me wrong...I love my RAT knives, too - but I bought two of the pouches; and the black one is carrying my SJTAC!

Is there an option without the knife? I already have an RC5 and 6.

to keep the price reasonable, they're only offered with a knife. but a rc6, rat firekit, sharpener, and the rat pack for around 180 isn't a bad deal.
