Hi!

This Friday I will be leaving on vacation with a group of friends to Siofok(no pun intended), Hungary.
I was planning on taking my Izula.

Also, when I get back from Hungary I will be leaving after to days again, this time to Thailand.
The first week I'm making a tour trough the inlands of Thailand, therefor I was planning on taking both my Izula and RC-4.

Now the question is: Anyone got any experiences taking knives into above named countries and is it legal to carry fixed blades in Thailand?

As for keeping up to date, when I get back I'll just check hwpaintballers thread to make sure I won't miss anything.

Greetings!:D

my only experience was in thailand my buddy carried his strider folder with no problem, good luck

In Hungary, you can carry a knife only with a blade length of 8 cm (3,15") or less. The Izula will be OK.

The RC4 should be fine. As long as they are in checked luggage you should have no problem.

I'm going to Thailand in November, so I'll be checking this thread.

I've been looking up Thai knife sites and those guys are pretty hardcore in knife use (bushknives) and they also make tactical knives (check: moonless knives). I've also seen very nice knife art.

If you shoot me an e-mail I'll mail my Thai knife info I've gathered if you like.
