Rats with custom scales?

Just wondering if anyone out there has ever changed the handle on their Rat to stag or bone or something unusual?

If so, could you please post some pics...thanks!

I haven't seen it done, but I'm sure it wouldnt be too hard to get a custom smith to do.

Most rat's are workers, and the stock handles work, so not many of us bother tryin' to make 'em pretty. Would be interesting to see a big ole RC6 with bone handles though.

the older rat3 & 7 had a special limited edition run w/ Ram's horn handles on them....

Well... I didn't get that fancy but I own a RAT-7 (ok ok... I know it is not a RAT Cutlery knife... but kind of...) and as soon as I got it I made myself a set of custom denim micarta slabs. I wanted to make micarta myself and I also preferred more rounded handle slabs. The RAT / RC handles are boxy, the ones I made are more rounded (and thicker).

That is beautiful! Rayban has some pictures up of some custom scales he put on his Izula that were awesome! I just can't find it...
