I'm looking for a rattlehawk sheath. I am interested in simple leather, but i'm also interested in a design like the one below.

I've been looking for one similar to the one pictured for a rattlehawk as well. Let me know if you find anything

I use to make them that way.
I started the bottom eject because the guys that carried hawks on their Tac vest wanted them that way.

also something to think about, the Rattle hawk has a sharpened top edge, it is not to sharp but may wear on the retention strap a bit

I'd be interested in seeing what a Rattle Hawk sheath like this would look like. Dave offers a valid point though, unlike the KDSH the Rattle Hawk has a sharpened top.

I have handled a few of the Buy Brown bottom ejects and they are sweet.

Good luck with you search and be sure to post pics once it is in house.

Personally, since i'll be wearing mine on my belt, i think the bottom eject would be harder to actuate. If you can think of a way around the strap getting cut, i'd definitely be interested in something like this for the RH

I have a bottom eject from Azwelke that I use from the belt, and it does not give me too much trouble. Top eject is an interesting idea, but I would hate to get poked in the side with that spike or the top edge.

I am pretty sure Okuden and the guy you got the picture from will make them ?
Since I had made them long ago and would not be stealing anyone's design I could make you one if you e-mail me ?

This is a excellent point :)

My thinking was that since the top is flat, it should recess into the sheath while it's locked. I have yet to see a sheath that's perfect for this design, but this top eject one was very close to what i was looking for.

How the heck did i miss the Godspeedtactical.com stamped on the pic... LOL..

Oh well, Mr.Brown is making me what i want.

I had top ejects for my crash rats and didn't like them. Especially on a belt with the sharpened top, unless you have a steep cant. You'll be pushing the sharpened edge right up into your love handles.

I don't have any love handles, but i sure hope it works out. The one David made me has several mounting options including a pair of loops for belt carry that should keep it a little lower than the original one in the pics. Also the top of my rattlehawk isn't very sharp. I don't think it could cut through a shirt. The primary edge is shaving sharp though
