Hi, I just got a Swamp Rad Rattle Hawk and I am in the need of your assistance. While it is an awesome weapon to behold, I am lost on how you sharpen it. There is no way to strop or mouse and sandpaper it. What are you all doing to sharpen it?

I use a sharpening stick almost like a steel. It's a little easier to work around the edge.

It's a good way to go. Sharpening stick. DMT makes good ones. Buy a ceramic stick also

Slack belt grinder, the same way the shop does it. :thumbup:

I thinned the entire edge a little bit on mine, and mirror polished the whole thing to a razor's edge! It's probably sharper than any other one out there (perhaps except if Ban has worked his magic on one). I'm actually a little aprehensive to use it, for fear she might really bite me good.

I do have a ceramic rod in addition to a worksharp. Both great ideas. Thank you.

Ken Onion Worksharp might do the trick, although mine is plenty sharp as it is.

Easy Peasy. For the main edge I can also use a diamond stone.

I doubt I'll ever sharpen the top, or inner beard.

I don't think I will touch the top either. I never knew that part was sharp.
