I had a request for a snake inlayed into a large fighter bowie blade. Here is my answer. It is a 7 1/2 inch, hand forged serpent, inlayed into a 10 inch, hand forged damascus blade.

Steels: 1084, 1080, 15N20 and pure Nickel (in the snake)
Blade length: 10 inches
Overall length: 15 1/4 inches
Handle: Juniper burl grip with wrought iron fittings.

Thanks for looking. Your comments are always welcome.

very nice. I always wonder how you figure out how to get the patterns in the steel that you actually are after. Seems like a very hot, very hard work, steel oragami type deal.

I've always loved your work. Amazing and incredibly clean creations.

And I'm going to have to order some of that juniper burl from you. It looks fantastic!

That is fantastic work. You must go through rotory tool bits and files like crazy!

Michael.
She's beautiful
Are there two snakes and each one crawls on each sides of the blade? Curiosity!
