So thanks to silverdragon33 for inspiring me to share these pics. After seeing his thread, I remembered I wanted to post a few shots from our latest trip to the woods. Sorry I'm not the greatest with a camera but I'm working on it.

Here's a one of our destination in the background. It's only about 2 miles to that ledge but 1,000 feet of elevation per mile roughly so fairly steep.

Got to try out my Maxpedition Lunada. Sweet pack and just the right size for a day trip. The HR just fit standing straight up. Too bad for me, this area was way too packed with people to have any serious fun with my knives.

hey, nice knife. i hiked up to the ledge back in april. nice, easy hike, but yeah, too many people to have fun with knives. the trail i went on the last few times is little used, and in the 4 times i've been up it, i haven't encountered anyone.

It sure is. Great dog and tons of energy. Got to get it out of her with trips like this.

Beautiful! Is one of your partners a Norwegian Elkhound?

Doh!!! Answered while I posted..... slowly.

Great pics! It looks like a beautiful place!

Yeah the HR is probably my favorite mid sized Busse right now. Thanks to Noel for hooking me up with that one. No rattlesnakes west of the mountains........not sure why it was named that to be honest.
