Have a look at the logos on these blades, both are different. I've seen some with no logos and I've heard that different generations were produced.

Question is... do the logos represent anything, different generations perhaps? Are some more desirable than others based on logos (or no logos)

Yea brother! Different generation logos. Oldschool and new school, and beauties at that!

Both Ratweiler and Chopweiler were differentially heat treated, so no difference there.
The real difference is in micarta and different tube fasteners.
And Ratweiler was first.
