Hello everyone,

I want a kydex sheath for my ratweiler but the sheath maker I contacted only has a chopweiler to mold kydex with.

Will my ratweiler work in the chopweiler sheath?

I had rather not mail my knife off, so if this doesnt work, can you recommend someone who may have a ratweiler on hand to mold with?

Thanks,

JT

Negative, the Ratweiler will not fit into a sheath molded for a Chopweiler. Your best bet is to mail the knife to the sheathmaker so he can make a sheath for you. That way, the sheath is actually molded to YOUR knife.

Thank you for your reply. Although not what I was hoping to hear, its what I needed to know. I was realy hoping it would slide in my Randall #14 sheath, but no luck there either. I guess I will send the ratweiler on an adventure to a lucky sheath maker who get to fondle her.

A lot of the sheathmakers that hang out in the Busse forum have ratweillers to work with. David Brown made mine.

Dave Brown Has a Ratwieler :)

E-mail him he will help you out.

Well I know a chopweiler will fit in a ratweiler sheath very well but Im not sure about the other way around.
