Ratweiler Prototype

Anyone have any suggestions for a sheath maker? One that won't take several months to complete?

You also have a Ratweiler prototype?

Maybe start your own thread or check out the sheath maker area so your not hijacking his thread ??

Yea I'm really digging this one, especially the thickness.

Blade Length: 7-1/2”
Blade Width: 1.75”
Blade Thickness: .165”
Overall Length: 13-1/4”
Grind: Saber
Steel: SR101 58-60Rc

That thing looks so nice! and .165!

To answer your question yes I do. My apologies on the supposed thread jack:confused: I didn't realize how much things have changed around here...ask a simple question and someone jumps down your throat.

Again, sorry about that! Jball, that is a nice looking knife.

That wasnt jumping down your throat at all... I was being sincere. You would get better help by starting your own thread or checking out the sheath area.

Now, If you started your post with "nice knife, i have one as well" that would of been better, i wouldnt of even replied to your posts, and you may have got an answer to your question here.... BUT, the OP asks how many of these knives are out there and you dont even bother to answer his question and say you also have one, or even comment on his post at all. You just ask your own questions.

Attitude and sincerity are hard to tell over a computer screen but i assure you my first post was sincere. I dont beat around the bush when i jump down someone's throat. My advice was sound and helpful if you follow it. Sorry if you mistook it for attitude.

Received the note that my score (RW Proto included!) was ready for shipment on Wednessday. Revealing pic, JBall1125, I didn't notice that pommel shaped like that before. So thanks for that!:thumbup:

Charger02, I'd be interested to know what sheathing solution you choose. Maybe you'll allow me to shamefully hitch a ride and your have blade used for a pattern to make 2? :o

Thx, Arnt

I wonder if the number made corresponds to the number won/ordered during the gonza. The shipping time seems long if the only components requiring manufacturer and installation are the preferred handle scales. Mine came yesterday. Iwas hoping it had a #/# stamp but no dice. Great looking blade. Mine is done in paper Micarta also.
