Hi I sent my old Benchmade Emerson CQC-7 to STR to get the Rave mod and the clip changed for left hand tip up carry. He did a great job and only had it for about 3 or 4 hours WOW, and off in the mail again. Anybody thinking of having him do a knife I highly recomend it. :D :D

STR calls his the Rave mod as to not confuse it with the factory Wave from Emerson. I have asked him if he would post the pics he took of the knife here for you to see. But you can go to knifeforums.com to see them now.

I can do that here too. The pix of before are another knife that I just happened to have sent to me by another forum member wanting the same mod done to the same knife.

The after pics are the smaller ones showing the pocket clip tip up conversion for left hand carry and the Rave/Wave mod.

I hope you like it as well once it gets back to you. It worked flawlessly when I tested it. In fact it worked as well as my factory Waved EKI so I suspect you will be pleased.

Got my CQC-7 back today :cool: It looks and functions great, It works great left handed. I can't beleive I used it all these years with the clip on the right side. The wave mod works great and is very fast. Thanks again Steve for the great job. :thumbup: :)
 
Hey STR, do you have a list of knife models you have done or can do this to?
 
They are all posted on my homepage in my profile. You may have to do some page flipping to find them but they are there and there is one sticky on the front page that I put up right after recieving Ernie Emerson's written permission to do the mods for folks on their existing knives.. Last time I looked there was still a lot on page 8.
