. Just can't afford them emersons though. However I got a couple, and I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with the Raven Clip being WAY too tight. I can't even clip them on some of my pants with one hand.

Hi!

Anyone can be a Usual Suspect, it just takes hard trying

(and an empty wallet...)

I had a Raven breifly and if i remember correctly it was rather hard to "pocketize".
Have you tried to carefully bend it outwards just a little?
There are spare clips available from EKI so if it's ruined it'll be no problemo to replace it.

Good luck

I sold mine for this very reason. I thought the opening wheel actually got in the way of the clip opening. A poor design...if you ask me.

I found that my problem was that with most of my folders I entered the pocket from the rear...and then rotated downward (if that makes sense). With the Raven...you have to enter from the front of the pocket...get the clip opening started...and then rotate downward. Whew. Too much trouble and re-learning for my tastes. Hence the sale. Of course...you could always do what 2Sharp said and bend the clip.

Back the screws off approx. 1/4 turn each. That is what I did to my raven. Now it slips right over the edge of the pocket with ease but does not come out unless I pull it out. Dave

part of what makes the raven hard to clip is the texture of the scales-it is a bit grabby on clothes. you could always take the clip off and bend it a bit. I'd rather have them too tight than too lose...
cheers,
DWE
