Raw Denim + Umnumzaan = "Blue Burnishing"

The indigo in my raw denim jeans are turning my Umnumzaan scales a kind of burnished blue. It's actually kind of cool, and I had thought it might happen. So if you want a blasted finish CRK to have a blue-ish tint, indigo dye from raw denim will do it.

I'll try and get a picture or two later when I am out of classes.

Here you can see it picking up some of the blue.

Same thing on my small Sebenza. These denim are about 4 years old too.

These are "new" - meaning one cold wash and maybe 30 days of wearing. Only been carrying the 'Zaan a week, so I am interested to see what it looks like in a few days more/a couple weeks.

My wife hates these pants. Probably 5-6 cold washes only over the years. Cuffs and crotch had to be repaired recently. Love these jeans. So comfortable.

Yeah, my wife is not always a fan. Especially after they crock the new car seat, the comforter on the bed, etc.

Kinda nice having it dye my knife.

That looks nice, it's getting a worn look with a touch of blue, sweet.
