Is it possible to buy a khukuri blade from HI, no handle, sheath, karda, chakma, etc.? Seems like it would be a good project

Every once in awhile Auntie will have a blade only deal, if she has any that the handle is broken or too cracked on. She normally doesnt sell just the blade. You can always Email to inquire.

IMA sells khukuri blades without handles too, along with other older khukuris. These are from the collection of antique khukuris that Atlanta Cutlery/IMA bought from Nepal several years ago. These are very old blades but may be in decent condition. Also, I think most of these blades' tangs are designed to be partial tangs - not saying these are bad or inferior, it was just the way things were done back then, but mentioning it as something you may wanna take into consideration. IMA also sells old khukuri handles separately - don't know if every handle will fit every khukuri blade though. I think the web site is ima-usa.com

Anyways, thought I should throw this out as an option.
