Rawhide fixed blade sheath

Here's my latest for a customer. Rawhide covered veg-tan, deerskin fringe, antique trade beads, copper cones, copper tacks, and horse hair. The center dangle is a fur trade era medallion supplied by the customer. The belt loop on this one was made for crossdraw per the customer request, and on the beltloop is the ever present coyote claw, which I have adapted as my maker's mark for this style of sheath work. The knife is by Kyle Willyard of Old Dominion Forge.

Being a blackpowder shooter and mountainman reenactor for 25 years I sure admire your work. There is something in the primitive artistry I have always enjoyed. Loosearrow
