Ray Cover in Amber

Just scored another Cover, only because it is getting cold down here in the South. 74 degrees right now and that is near bout freezing. :D What do you think about this one?

I think a red cross Ray Cover looks...ummmm....different, lol.

can't see any pic right now....
 
I just do not understand, I have posted many, many photos and many photos for others that were having trouble, still do not understand why it did not show when hosted by Picaso, I had to upload to BF to finally get it to show. I appreciate both you guys helping me out by giving me the heads up on the no show, I was seeing the image anytime in the thread or even when previewing it. Another bug or computer glich I guess, but thanks for the help and comment.

yep, image is up. I love that semi skinner blade shape and I love jigged amber bone. did you get it directly from Ray Sr?
 
Really, I was asked by a member of forum NOT to disclose his name, I will have to honor that request. Sorry, but I do keep my word.
But I can say it was not directly from Ray.

That's a nice one Jim. I really like the semi-skinner pattern Ray makes. The amber bone is really nice too.
 
A good rule of thumb is to NEVER turn down a knife made by Ray Cover Sr. :)

I have not turned down many.:D:D I have heard I may have a chance at a really rare one. Hope I can distract the wife while I empty the cookie jar if it does come available.;)
