You guys know I can take a half assed backyard photo every now and then.At home today, froze my butt off to show you this little gem.
3-1/16" Closed,5-1/2" OA open,nice and slim,probably a good carry slip for when you're in a suit,well that was my idea ,anyhow.Not too bad on the pictures,no ?

Not bad pictures at all, Vince. You can see the shades and colors in the pearl. Very nice little knife. I'll bet you could get a better picture. Why don't you back out in the cold and try again?:D (Pretty nippy weather in Tejas today too.)

Rob,it wouldn't be too bad except for the wind.
The colors are shown pretty good,I think I'll stay in.

The colors show up just fine. Great little knife, to bad you have to put on a suit to use it.

Well,it's not a bad thing,it's just that I have a few knives,so I carry them in certain situations. The slim pretty little MOP,seems to be a "dressy knife"
Now,if I were to be headed out on a big game hunt,a Cover Trapper might just be what I need....

Both are fine looking knives. Ray Cover sure is hard to beat on fit and finish. Both have red micarta underneath?

Mike,Yes,red fiber liner,I don't know if it is Micarta though.

Forgot to ask, what steel on both? I think you did a great job on catching the color in that pearl.

Dave,I gotta get a belt sheath made for that one....
Vince

Yes, Vince that beauty SCREAMS out to be used. There are some fine leather craftsmen hereabouts.(forums) You need to come out here and test fly that baby out on an elk!
I'd be more'n glad to guide you.

Dave

Hi Vince,
the 2-bladed Ray Cover slip-joint looks really useful for outdoor ( and certainly indoor - e.g. kitchen) - "operations" and it is very, very pretty.
May I ask how long is it closed and how long are the 2 blades ?
Do you have a foto from the belt sheath for that one ? Who made it ? Ray Cover himself ???

Thanks
Stefan

I might as well join in and post a few of my favorite Ray Cover knives:D

And then there's this one that I just picked up at the end of January. It's Ray's latest design.

Do you have belt-sheaths for them ?
May be, some day I'll have such nice thing's as well , specially one of the smaller 2-blade-ones ? Who knowes :(

A question please, Durwood: Does your 2-blade-folder have the same size as the one from VCM3 ? 3 1/4 inch-blades ?
