Here is one of Ray's knives I've been after for a while, he only makes 2 or 3 a year and sometimes not even that. I only wish I could take a picture to do it justice. It's a tad over 12 1/4" overall. I picked up several more goodies from Ray. And my first Don Hanson folder too:thumbup:

By the way it was an awesome show, you should have been there! Talked to Danbo, who had his big paws on this one too:D Also got to talk to Craig Camerer a while...all great folks

Can I ask, is it heavy?

And what is the price RANGE on something like that?

Best Regards,

That looks like a great sub-hilt.I would sure like to see a few more pics from different angles.

Cover Clean Really Good score and I bet it was really really reasinable..but we need more pics as well as a pic of the Hanson Folder..tell me it was a trapper!

Tell the angles you guys want to see, and i'll try it. And yes, the Hanson folder is a Slim Trapper in dyed stag and it is simply awesome, this won't be my last Don Hanson folder. I'm having trouble getting a picture that does it justice. I'll keep trying.

I would say it isn't very heavy, and balances nicely at the guard.

I'd rather not say the price, other than to say it was really good:D

I can understand you not wanting to post the price.

Thanks,

STeven Garsson

A full side view from both sides and a photo from the top always give me the best idea of what a knife is like. Closeups of the blade and handle are also nice.

Congrats on that beautiful sub-hilt and on your Hanson slim trapper.
Thanks for posting that pic.
:D

Here's another one I got from Ray. This one has Giraffe bone and some file work. He said he did the filework over 10 years ago, and just never finished it.

These are some mighty subhilts!
As for the other goodies, especially the folder from Don Hanson, we won't believe until we see some pics ;)

Congratulations on your new acquisitions, especially those new Ray Cover, Sr. fighters. Thanks for the great photos.

My cup runneth over (with envy).

I love to see as many photos of subhilts as possible. I am getting one made for me and the more I get to see, the more I can fine tune what I want it to look like.
