Got this in from a friend out west, when I opened the box and removed the knife from the cloth slip sheath, I went WOW, this sucker's amazing!

Here are some shots with my new camera, reduced to allow them to be viewed easier.

Hey Gary -- Ray's work is very popular in Colorado, and I've had the chance to handle several of them. Each one has been superb -- real quality in every way. Yours is about as good as it gets, still straining my eyes to find the junction line between the spring and the blade in the second pic, what a perfect fit !!
Great piece :D

Thanks for posting these photos, Gary. You and your new camera did a great job.

I had the same reaction as Gary's when I got the shipping container open and got a good look at the knife in my hands. I was simply unprepared for its excellence in detail, bilateral symetry, construction, overall execution and remarkably graceful style for such a hefty, solid folder.

I got it from Danbo around the first of June and enjoyed it for awhile before sending it off to Gary.

Danbo gave a detailed, very accurate description in his For Sale post and even suggested that it was something special but even so, it turned out to be a conservative and understated description - the knife is stunning!

I am a happy man and am also enjoying the process of working out the details with Gary for a worthy sheath for it.

Life is good.

I only wish that it was mine! ;) She was here for a short stay to be wrapped in leather. Here are a couple of quick shots taken, need to setup a better area to get photos now that I have the digital camera!

Nice knife, I think I maybe calling on Mr. Ray Covers about a wharncliffish knife like this but with my blade shape of course! :)

I KNEW I should have kept that one! ;)

Seriously, great sheath for a beautiful knife. :)

Most definitely! I think I'll be calling him in a while and see how long a waiting time is!

Very well made knife! Nice touch with the part for the lock release...
